CyFerNode- Annual Inter-School Tech Event
The two-day Annual IT Event, CyFerNode-2.2 held on 29th and 30th November, was the first offline inter-school event conducted and hosted by CyberNauts, the Info-Tech Society of the school.
All the events were designed to celebrate ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and revolved around the theme Tech4Nation.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mrs. Urmimala Sudhakar. A cordial welcome was accorded to esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Vinnie Jauhari, Director- Learning and Skills, Microsoft Corporation India Pvt Ltd. Dr. Jauhari is credited with shaping and building communities in India, namely the Microsoft Showcase School Programme and Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert Community of teachers. Mrs Sudhakar extended a hearty welcome to the Vice Principal, Mrs Anupama Mehtani, Mrs Soumya Taneja, Head, junior school and teachers from participating schools as the stage was prepared to felicitate the finest.
More than 250 students from 25 schools from Delhi-NCR, participated with remarkable zeal in ten different events showcasing their brilliance in terms of creativity, confidence, competitive spirit and passion.
As the moments rolled into the most awaited one, the names of the winners were declared amidst cheer and glee. Mrs. Taruna Mongia, HOD, IT Department declared the results as trophies and certificates were handed over by our distinguished guests and esteemed Chief Guest of the day. Lotus Valley International School was declared the winner of the Rolling Trophy of Cyfernode 2.2.
Ms. Soumya Taneja, in her Vote of Thanks, congratulated the winners and mentioned that the willingness to learn is the most powerful driving force behind success.
