EconomiX 23, an Interschool Commerce Event was hosted by Summer Fields School, on 22nd August 2023. The event enhanced students’ understanding of economic concepts, encouraged critical thinking and fostered healthy competition among budding economists. This event brought together young talents from more than 25 premier schools of Gurugram. The valedictory function marked the culmination of the event, celebrating the participants’ achievements in five dynamic competitive events namely Symposium, Idea Pitching, Ad Mad, Logo Making and Comic Canvas. The Principal, Dr. Urmimala Sudhakar congratulated the participants for their exceptional performances. The ceremony concluded with a sense of achievement and camaraderie among the participants.

Time Management 'highlighting the importance of effective time management skills
Students of VIII A presented class assembly on ‘Time Management’highlighting the importance of effective time management skills in academic & personal endeavors.The aim was to equip students with valuable strategies to optimize their time.
Internationalism: Video Conferences
Summer Fields School believes in Global Citizenship. To reach beyond the boundaries we are connecting with different classrooms, all over the globe on the Generation Global platform.
On 22nd April, International Earth Day, students of Summer Fields School Gurgaon participated in International Video Conference Dialogue on the topic ‘Climate Change’ with fellow students from Taras Shevchenko Himnazia School, Ukraine, Indonesia and India on the platform, Generation Global.
Students from all schools raised thought provoking questions and discussed the political polices of their respective countries related to the awareness camps and steps the all governments are taking to solve the major issues.
Students have also discussed how they can contribute as individuals to save our Mother Earth.
It was an exciting and engaging session as dialogues were exchanged on the global concern of climate change between young members of all nations, distanced by geography, climate, culture and language. In the heart of all the enthusiastic participants was a genuine concern for Mother Earth, our ailing planet.
Technology gives wings to its users and you may turn your classroom into a global platform. Students have collaborated with other schools using video conferencing tools. Class X and XI participated in a Video Conference on the topic ‘Fake News and Social Media’ on 7th November 2022. Students from all across the globe came forward to discuss their experiences with fake news. Students from UAE, Ukraine, Poland and Ireland were few participants. The session ended on the note of how the youth can prevent the spread of fake news. Teaching beyond the classroom with the help of collaborative advanced tools took place.
Entire school has witnessed great synergy and zest among students and teachers, as various activities were conducted to raise awareness and amalgamation of ICT.
